Though the course is designed to help product managers learn about sustainability concepts and how they apply to product development, I still found it valuable as a sustainability professional looking to learn about the product development process (and ways to address Scope 3 emissions using a bottom-up rather than a top-down approach). I thought the EARTH framework was especially helpful for identifying climate problems and solutions using a comprehensive approach. The EARTH framework is one of numerous useful tools taught in the course -- all of them helped surface approaches and considerations for improving sustainability practices that were new to me even after years working in corporate sustainability.
