Jacques Fattaccioli is Associate Professor at Sorbonne Université and ENS-PSL, and group leader at Institut Pierre-Gilles de Gennes. His research spans droplet microfluidics, emulsion science, surface chemistry, and cell biophysics, with active projects at the interface of soft matter and immunology.

He directs the Microfluidics and Miniaturization Master's track at PSL and Sorbonne Université and has trained researchers across academia and industry for over a decade.

He is also co-founder of Quintessence Biotech, a startup developing lipid microparticle technologies for cell therapy.
